Isabel (Medellin) Gutierrez

November 19, 1938-March 23, 2024

Isabel M Gutierrez, 85, of Portland, Oregon, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on March 23, 2024.

Isabel was born on November 19, 1938 in the city of Odem, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Isidro Gutierrez as well as her daughter, Ida and her parents, Ysidro and Dominga Medellin, and 10 other brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 10 children: Isidro Gutierrez, Serafin Gutierrez, Laura Torres, Brenda Clements, Anita (Don) LeNoble, George Gutierrez, Emmanuel Gutierrez, Adam (Nikki) Gutierrez, Edward Gutierrez, and Rogelio Gutierrez as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She will be dearly missed.

Isabel’s faith, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for nearly 50 years, has helped her to have confidence that she is in God’s memory (Malachi 3:16) and will be resurrected back to a paradise earth according to Jehovah’s original purpose.
