Irene L. Jackson, “Renee,” passed away at 80 years old on August 26, 2022, peacefully at home. Irene was born in Eureka, California to Father, Athos Aramis Jackson and Mother, Ethel Charlene Oscar. She was one of 15 siblings. She had 10 children, Laura, Sharlene, James, Linda, Zelma, Irene, Deby, Caleb, Janis, and Rosanna.

Leaving behind 19 grandkids, and 35 great grandkids, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Many had the pleasure of being cared for by her. Irene’s home was open to all, another mom for some. She cared and loved everyone genuinely, a true homemaker at heart. Everything she did, she did with love, including her baking. During the holidays, her home would be filled with the smell of pies she baked up. Anything she did it was a great deal to her, from holidays and birthdays to the parades she attended. She would get dressed up for such occasions, but not much was needed because she was a beauty.

You could always count on Irene to be there in ways big and small. Without hesitation, she would be there or just show up, always with class and elegance. Her beautiful smile could fill a room and her laughter was undoubtedly unforgettable. For all these things, we will remember her.
