Geneva Gail Titus

August 23, 1945 – October 12, 2019

Geneva Titus_Geneva Gail “Ginny” Titus was born August 23, 1945 in San Diego, California to Otto and Ruby (Gillenwater) Leopold. She died on October 12, 2019 at the age of 74. Geneva grew up in the Aloha, Oregon area on her parent’s small farm and graduated from Beaverton High School.

Geneva married Floyd Koffel in 1967, and welcomed Floyd’s sons, Steven, Jeff, Greg, and Mike, into her life. Geneva and Floyd had three children, Shelly, Toby, and Nikki.

In 1994, Geneva married the love of her life, David Titus, and gained two more sons, Russell and Scott. Geneva and Dave were constant, devoted and loving companions. Seldom did you find one without the other being somewhere nearby.

Geneva was a loving and devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Kaity, Jacob, Cole, Lacey, Alex, Benjamin, and Dean, often traveling across the state or the country to celebrate achievements or life events.

Geneva lived in several places in Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Kansas, Colorado, and Nevada before moving with Dave to Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula.
Geneva loved to see the world and traveled to nearly all 50 United States, as well as internationally. She was an adventurous person and lived her life to the fullest, riding horseback into Idaho’s backcountry, driving long-haul truck with David, going on road trips – she loved seeing places she’d never been to before. Geneva loved animals, flowers, and nature, taking hundreds of photographs of the beauty of the world around her.

Geneva’s smile would light up a room, and her vivacious approach to life was evident to anyone she met. Her laughter will be missed by all who knew her.

Geneva was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a member of several congregations in her life, including Beaverton, OR, Fernley, NV, and Long Beach, WA.
Geneva is survived by her devoted husband, David Titus; daughter Shelly Studebaker and husband Randy; son Toby Koffel and wife, Cindy; daughter Nikki Blankenship and husband Kevin; son Russell Titus and wife Kristina; son Scott Titus and wife Beverly; grandchildren Kaity, Jacob, Cole, Lacey, Alex, Benjamin, and Dean; and her brother Joseph Leopold and wife Linda, and nieces. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Ruby Leopold.

Memorial services will be held in Long Beach, Washington and Beaverton, Oregon.
