Gary Lynn Taylor

November 22, 1955 – October 09, 2021

Gary Lynn Taylor was born in Portland Oregon on November 22nd 1955 to the union of Helen and Robert Taylor. He was the eighth of twelve siblings.He attended Highland Elementary and John Adams High School .

Growing up Gary worked with his father in the furnace and scrap metal business. Gary was a hard-working man who spent countless hours working for Columbia Steel foundry and Vera Cast as a welder. He was a very kind man and would help anyone in need.

In 1980 Gary met the mother of his children Verna Glass from this relationship his daughter Colethea Lynn was born. His stepchildren included her siblings Curtina , Carlisa and CeAntwaun. Gary was the proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family doing outdoor activities like fishing, camping and barbecuing.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory His Brothers Roy Burton,Ernest Taylor, Will Louis Taylor and sisters Mary Williams and Debra Bird as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and freinds.He is proceeded in death by his mother and father,(sisters) Gladys, Katherine Anne ,Betty Jean,Beverly, Helen and Lawanda, his baby brother Terry ,His son CeAntwaun and his long-time partner Karen Johnson.
