Evelyn Elizabeth Smith

June 2, 1942 – February 25, 2024

Evelyn was born June 2nd ,1942 and passed away February 25th, 2024 at 81 years old peacefully in her sleep in Portland, Oregon.

Evelyn grew up in Mount Angel Oregon where she was born, she went on to raise her two children Donna Banks-Newman and Rodena Champney in Portland, Oregon. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Margret Hemshorn along with her husband Grover Leon Smith Jr.; Evelyn was her daughter’s hero and their strength. Evelyn is survived by her twin brother Everett Hemshorn and her brother Al Hemshorn, along with her two daughters Donna and Rodena.

The funeral will be held at Omega Funeral and Cremation Thursday, March 14th, 10:30am, along with a committal service at Willamette National.
