Dearest Grandma, Although I am unable to attend your beautiful ceremony to celebrate your life today- I wanted to let you know how big of an impact you had on our ohana and my personal life. I remember when you came to Florida for mommy to take care of you. You brought with you love and laughter and a ton of sass. You left me with life lessons on how to give to people no matter how many obstacles you are struggling with and how to be a warrior in life with all the medical issues I have. You taught me through your own brave actions in being strong & stubborn through your own pain and making silly jokes along the way. Thank you for teaching me how to be bold for my newborn son..I wish you would have met my fiance and baby boy. I know you thought I was 12 because of a calendar you had always kept..but now as you look down on us you can see that I am missing you as I grow into adulthood. I love you so much Grandma..with tears in my eyes..I write this and love you all the more.
