Earl James “Jim” Eichelberger

August 30, 1938 – April 13, 2022

Earl James “Jim” Eichelberger passed away at 83 on April 13th 2022 in Portland Oregon.

Jim was born August 30th 1938 in Clarksville Missouri, he was the second born of 10 children to Milton E. Eichelberger and Mary Jane “Schmidtt”
Eichelberger. Always having a profound love of the water, Jim joined the Navy in 1955. During this time he met Terry Anne “Burke” at Rose
Festival. They were married for 47yrs.

After an honorable discharge from the Navy in 1965 Jim worked as a professional Diesel Mechanic. He later became a Diesel Mechanic Instructor at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. It is here where he met Pat, his good friend of over 40yrs.

Jim is survived by his daughter Stephie, Granddaughter Elaina, Great Grandson Terrance James and Great-Great Grandson’s Ezrah Scott
and Ezryah James. Jim touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
