Dustin (Dusty) Edward Maxwell

August 24, 1977 – May 30, 2025

Dustin (Dusty) Edward Maxwell, passed away at his home on Friday, May 30th, 2025.

Born in Coquille, OR. on August 24, 1977, and raised in Portland, OR.

He married Jenny Ross on 12/29/2005 and they had one son, Hayden. Even though their love was strong, they were young, and it did not last.

He later married Courtney McCallum on 6/24/2011, where he developed a loving bond with his stepdaughter, Lyric  They spent 17 years together before separating in Dec, ’23.

From an early age, he has enjoyed music. At different times, he was the DJ up on stage, other timed he was the “sound man”; from set-up to tear-down, and everything between, Dustin was there.

Dustin is survived by his son, Hayden Conner Maxwell; father, David Thomas Maxwell; sister, Christine Roxanne Appleby; an aunt, Diane Kathy Maxwell; and many cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Katheryn Dyan Maxwell, and an uncle, Donald Douglas Maxwell

A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Dustin’s honor on June 29th, 2 PM, at his father’s home.
