Donald Gene Lund was born January 22, 1934 in bend, Oregon.-As a teenager he moved with his family to Portland, where he attended and graduated from Parkrose High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1957. On June 7, 1957 he married Darlene Bumgardner, returning to Portland where they made their home.

Donald taught at Parkrose Jr. High School and drove truck for Safeway,

among other companies.

He was active in the Alumni Association at Lewis & Clark College, a lunch group of classmates from Parkrose High School and square dancing with the «Barn Owls».

His interests included visiting Reno, Nevada (Where he loved to play craps), football, basketball and fishing, but his greatest joy came from being a Father, Grandfather

& Great-Grandfather.
