Dillon Jaye Newkirk

October 29, 1984 – December 21, 2023

Dillon Jaye Newkirk of Molalla, Oregon passed away the morning of Thursday, December 21st, 2023, at 3:45am. He was surrounded by his wife (Anisa) and close friends (Chad, Joy, and Aaron).

Dillon was born in Lake Arrowhead, California. He moved to Oregon and finished high school at North Marion High School.  He settled in Molalla, with his family in December of 2009.

Dillon left this world far too soon. He had a life full of adventures, always leaving behind a trail of hectic happiness everywhere he went.

As a jack of all trades and expert in some, welding and mechanics were his primary career choice, but there really was not anything he could not accomplish or hustle if he had the challenge. Always making sure to pay it forward, his karma cup was always full.  He could often be found tinkering on something in his shop, he also loved being by the water (anywhere from the Molalla Corridor to the Oregon Coast).

Dillon was very patriotic. He believed in our rights as American’s, and all our freedoms that come with that. Many can remember him being at flag waves showing his love for the Red, White and Blue.

Dillon was an amazing protector, nothing more important than family to that man, not just the family linked by blood but all his chosen family too! There is nothing he would not do for anybody he loved. Although he came across as a tough guy to some, he had a huge heart.  Dillon loved his girls Ali and Sammie.  He spent many hours helping the girls play basketball, taking them fishing, or just up to the river to hang out.  He was proud of their accomplishments both in school and in sports and would always look forward to hearing how their games went.

Dillon is survived by his wife of 16 years Anisa, his two daughters Ali and Sammie, his Dad Steve, his Mom Beverly, his step brother Brad, his half-sister Rhianna; his step sister Shawna; and many of his loved ones that will carry on his memory and love as well.

We will be having a memorial service for Dillon this summer; more information will come later.
