I had the pleasure of getting to know Denise as I visit residents at Kirkland Union Manor often. I always tried to stop on a Wednesday when I could chat with Denise and hear her latest story of her beloved daughter, Madelyn. Oh how she loves you, Madelyn! She will forever be with you. To say I am sorry for your loss just doesn't begin to convey my feelings. You are all in my prayers.

I had the privilege of knowing Denise when she was a graduate student at ElderPlace Gresham and was thrilled when she came back and started working at our Lambert office. She had such a vibrant sparkle and was always a joy to be around. I am so sorry for her loss. It was such a beautiful service, thank you for the opportunity to laugh and cry with you. My thoughts and prayers are with her mom, Rob, and Madelynn.

As a former resident of Westmoreland's Union Manor and also a part time employee Denise and I became very close. Denise's compassion was amazing, she was so caring and respectful. She often spoke of her loving family, she so proud of Madelynn. Denise will be missed by so many! I'm so blessed to have been her friend. I'm so sorry I won't be at her memorial, I now live in southern California. My love and condolences to Rob, Madelynn, Kathy and all her family.

We met at Westmoreland Union Manor over referrals to Adult Protective Services. Denise was a terrific professional to work with - she could quickly see the greatest needs and had a smooth style to draw in difficult clients. Later we got better acquainted at Congregate Housing Services meetings for new resident assessments where her humor could rock the room and her no-nonsense gravity could clarify the issues. She was a fabulous social worker to work with and appeared to have a bottomless heart for her clients. She will be greatly missed.

Denise was a bright light here at Marshall Union Manner. She had a wonderful sense of humor to say nothing of her tremendous will to see that «her people» were treated with justice, dignity and compassion. I'll miss her. We all will miss her. My condolences to her lovely family.

As a resident services coordinator at Marshall Union Manner, Denise was quick and competent at providing the practical help and information we needed to make our lives easier. I extend my condolences to her friends and family and to the residents here at MUM who feel her loss deeply.

Please accept my deepest condolences. Denise was a lovely woman who cared deeply for our residents at Marshall Union Manor. She also loved to talk with me about her beautiful daughter and her «wonderful» husband. She was so proud of both of you.

Denise was a joy to work with from my (former) perspective at LIft Urban Portland. She went out of her way to be helpful to me to ensure her residents got the services we could provide. A public servant in the best and highest use of that term. My deepest condolences to her family and community.

As a child Denise was a happy, cheerful and caring little girl that was always ready with a big smile. And she grew into a lovely, beautiful woman who loved and cared for all. That shine and beautiful smile will be missed by all.

I didn't get to know her long. She befriended me shortly after I joined Marshall. She was a beautiful, caring, loving Angel. This saddens me. I will miss her for forever.
