Daryl L. Elliott

September 13, 1956 – January 30, 2024

Daryl L. Elliott, 67, passed away peacefully January 30, 2024, at his sister, Dawn’s house in Portland, Oregon.  He was born September 13, 1956, in Portland, Oregon to Marlowe and Verlin (Heuer) Elliott.

Daryl worked for several companies in the manufacturing industry until he retired in 2021.

Daryl was a classic car enthusiast.  He owned a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette that he was restoring, but his pride and joy was his 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.  He just loved anything to do with cars.

Daryl made several trips with his friends to Mexico, where they always had a great time.

Daryl was a very special guy with a big heart, who made many lifelong friends.  He will be missed by all.  He had a special place in his heart for cats.  He never met a cat he didn’t want to take care of.

Daryl is survived by his sisters, Dian (Dresden), Dawn (John), niece, Adrienne (Erik), and their children, Erik, Ahren, and Malin; nephew, Bryan (Shelby), and their children, Jacoby, Cannon, and Ledger.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and, his brother, David, who died March 14, 2020.

A celebration of Daryl’s life will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at the Gresham Golf Course Banquet Room, 2155 NE Division St, Gresham, OR. The Banquet Room is to the left of the Pro Shop.
