Darlene J Simshaw.

February 8, 1937 – October 5, 2023

Darlene J. Simshaw is survived by Robin, Karen, Mike, Greg, and Gordon, 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Service to be held on October 13, 2023 at 1 pm at Omega Burial and Cremation, 223 SE 122nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97233.

Mom worked for 49 years.  She started at the original St Vincent hospital in N W Portland she met our dad in the emergency room when he worked for buck ambulance. She graduated in 1956 from Rainer Oregon where she grew up. Born in Oklahoma.

She enjoyed making afghans for all the children also hats for cancer patients, she enjoyed making peanut brittle for the holidays. She had fun taking a few road trips with her son Greg when he was driving long haul.

She enjoyed going to her class reunions. Mike and Greg took turns going with her, she didn’t want to drive that far alone. She loved all her cats and dogs she had over the years.
