Daniel Lee Jackson

November 11, 1944 – December 4, 2024

Daniel Lee Jackson Born November 11, 1944 passed away December 4, 2024 at Providence St. Vincent hospital in Portland Oregon from respiratory arrest due to complications of Parkinson’s disease at 80 years old.

He was born in Southern California on November 11, 1944 to loving parents Robert Leeander Jackson and Nona Esther Jackson. He was the youngest of two children.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1966-67 and received many awards.

He was a loving husband and is survived by his wife Marla and his daughter Michele.

Dan worked at Hughes Aircraft for many years and then began a second career in appliance repair later in life. He moved to Oregon in 2010 to enjoy his retirement and loved his home that was just 1 house away from his wife’s parents home in the Summerfield 55+ community in Tigard.

He loved watching NASCAR, SNL and Late Night Talk Shows. He enjoyed his tool collection and enjoyed being very organized. He was a pretty private person but loved comedy and making a few good jokes of his own.

He will be sadly missed. His military honors ceremony will be held Wednesday Jan 15, 2025 at 11 am at Willamette National Cemetery.
