Dana Lee (Culver) Lint (Vicki)

August 24, 1942 – February 13, 2024

Dana Lee (Culver) Lint (Vicki) was born on August 24, 1942. She passed away peacefully at home on February13, 2024 surrounded by her family members and her two beloved dogs Lambchop and Precious. Dana was in good spirits displaying her sense of humor with jokes prior to her passing.

Dana grew up the oldest of five Culver children, she is preceded in death by her husband Miles Robertson, parents Miland Dana Culver and Judith Ilene Culver as well as her brother Robert (Bobby) Culver.

Dana is survived by her three children Laura Keathley of Washington, Gerald Keathley of NC, and Jimmy Hunter of Texas. She also has a stepdaughter Sandra Downey of Portland. She has nine grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also, three sisters Kitty Sperry of Aloha, Donna Fridley of PA and Dixie Staggenborg of Aloha.

Dana was active in her community. She volunteered for ST John’s FoodShare working as a greeter getting to know the clients by name. She made them feel at ease. During the Portland Food Project Saturday event she arranged crates for sorting food. When the truck arrived from picking up food she got in the back and brought the bags forward making it easier for the other volunteers to load the carts. Fridays after the store closed, she prepared a family style dinner for all the volunteers.

As a crafter she made and donated thousands of hats to Veterans facilities, Kenton Presbyterian Church Christmas Project, ST Vincent De Paul Christmas project; also handed out hats to the clients at FoodShare the week before Christmas.

As a member of the Hayden Island crafters group, she alternated cooking lunches for the members.

During her working years she was a cook, waitress, caregiver in Colorado. She owned her own janitorial service cleaning for Elmers Flag and Banner and The Concord building.  She owned a rug cleaning business with her husband who has passed away. He was the love of her life.

There will be a celebration of life at Hayden Island MHC, Rivershore community center, 1501 N Hayden Island Dr. Portland, Or 97217 on March 17, 2024, from 2-5. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make a donation in Dana’s memory to an Animal Rescue or shelter of your choice.
