Corinne Ramirez

March 3, 1927 – July 26, 2022

Corinne Ramirez, 95 passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022 in Portland, Oregon. Corinne was born March 3, 1927 in Hanover, NM. She married John Ramirez in 1946, and raised their family in West Hills, CA where she was an active member at St. Bernadine Catholic Church.

Corinne is survived by her 4 children; Cathy Smith, Betty Couch, Marie Nielsen, and John Ramirez, her 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Corinne moved through life with strength, grace, generosity and an incredible sense of humor. She was the foundation of a large family, and created a home filled with love, food, laughter and music. She welcomed everyone and was loved by all.

Corinne had a long career at The Broadway where she worked for over 25 years. She was amazing at needlepoint, sewing, cooking, and gardening. She made the best tortillas and could often be found in the kitchen with a Corona in hand.

Her spirit will forever live on in her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest at San Fernando Mission Cemetery next to her husband.
