Christopher and I have been meeting for years in San Luis Obispo and then calling each other when he and Marleen moved to Oregon. Our chief goal was to solve all the world's problems 😀 Especially concerning political issues. We were both natural "lefties" so we often thought alike. The area we didn't fully agree on was that he thought the US should split up, he wanted the Red states to secede from the Union. We both agreed that it would be OK if Texas left! 😀 Recently, however, I believe Marlene talked him out of succession because we would probably just end up going to war with each other. As I used to say, "The rednecks have more guns!" Christopher was totally into British Murder Mysteries. This was not a passion I shared until I discovered "Death in Paradise" on BritBox. Christopher said he had seen them all 🙂 While we all believe in a higher power and that the afterlife will be a good place to be, in this life I will miss him. Blessings, Steve
