Chad Edward Geer

May 22, 1980 –  October 16, 2021

Chad Edward Geer, 41, of Portland, Oregon gained eternal rest Saturday, October 16th, 2021.

Chad was born May 22nd, 1980 in Spokane, WA, to the late Larry and Roberta (Craig) Geer, the middle child of five.

Chad will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.  He worked as a finish carpenter throughout his life.  He had a heartfelt love for softball, fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. He was a very patriotic man who loved his country dearly. He will also be remembered for his humor, sarcasm, and his giving heart. Chad was the kind of person that would give the shirt off his back, his last five bucks, or jump in his truck at 2 am to help you out with no questions asked.  He was a person who was authentic and unapologetically himself.

He is survived by his three sons, Gage Geer of Beaverton, Gavin Geer of Beaverton and Austin Geer of Oregon City; four siblings, Misti DeJohn of Bushland, Carl Geer of Salem, Cody Geer of Woodland and Ashley Beigle of Sherwood; a grandson, Owen Geer; 5 nephews, 5 nieces, one great nephew, one great niece and his best friend, his dog Ruger.

Visitation will be at 11:00 AM prior to the 12:30pm service on Sunday, October 24th at Omega Funeral Home, 223 SE 122nd Ave, Portland, OR 97233.

A Celebration of life will be held at The Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, 8235 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97220 at 3pm following the service.
