Carlette Randolph Bacote

March 27, 1958 – December 14, 2024

Carlette Randolph Bacote, 66, of Portland, OR passed away on December 14, 2024, 4:40 pm at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center after a valiant battle with Lung Cancer. She was surrounded by family.

Carlette Bacote was born on March 27, 1958 to the late Lawrence E. Randolph and Barbara Givens Huggins in Portland, Oregon.

In 1976 she married her soulmate Dennis J. Bacote in Great Falls, MT and have been married for 48 years.

Carlette enjoyed taking care of people and she showed this in her career as a CNA.  She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and she will be sadly missed. She enjoyed playing Bingo and gardening. She loved being the neighborhood watch.

Preceding her in death were her parents Lawrence Randoph and Barbara Huggins and her brother Robert “Bobby” Bonton.

She leaves to mourn her passing; her beloved husband, Dennis J. Bacote: two sons Robert Bacote and Dennis Bacote Jr; and one daughter, Sheronda Porter (Taurean); her step-father, Alfred Huggins all of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Steven Randolph (Lynn) of Portland, Oregon; Mark Bonton Sr. (Patricia) of Alexandria, Louisiana; three sisters, Machiel Stanfield of Pontiac, Michigan; Antoinette “Toni” White of Hermiston, Oregon and Tangela Huggins (Jeffry) of Portland, Oregon. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
