BUNNIE  KAY  KELLY

Passed away Sunday October 15, 2017 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 52. She was born March 27, 1965 in Portland, Oregon to Jim and Lucille “Billie” Haughton. Bunnie died at home of Natural Causes.

She went through 1st grade in Portland, in the summer her parents moved to the Estacada-Eagle Creek, Oregon area, Bunnie then went to the Eagle Creek School from 2nd grade through 6th grade, she attended the 7th through 9th grade at the Middle School in Estacada, Oregon.

After going into the 9th grade she met Richard Williams. At the age of 14 she left home to live and be with him. In April 1984 they got married and were together for 3 or 4 years before they divorced. In 1997 she married her 2nd Husband. She married James Kelly, on October 31, 2002 in Portland, Oregon, they have been together for 15 years.

Bunnie loved Animals—we had a donkey and she could do just about anything with him. She could not ride him unless someone was leading him. One time she and her friend got on him to ride, “Jughead” just walked into the trees and stopped. She had a rabbit she called Mrs. Snow He was always getting out of his cage. While she was in school the rabbit got out, the only one home was her Dad, Jim. He tried all day to catch him but could not. When Bunnie got home she was told to put her rabbit back in the cage, all she did was call it by name and it came to her. DOGS—Dogs loved her. She always had a dog or 2or 3 . One day when she came home from school this big hairy dog followed her home (she said) she called him Dinkey. He stayed and did not run off.

Another time she was around 8 or 9, the family went out to a Tree Farm for a Christmas Tree. The Farmer told us not to go close to the dog that was tied up because he would bite. Before we could get away from the car we turned around to get a hold of her she was already over to the dog with her arms around him. She was not afraid of most anything. One of her brothers gave her a Salamander. The next thing she was doing was dictating it to show the neighborhood kids.

When she was 3 and 4 she was a Mascot for the Girl Scout Troupe that her Mother had. When she was in the 2nd Grade in Eagle Creek she became a Brownie Scout and then went on into Girl Scouts through the 6th Grade. When Bunnie was in the 3rd Grade she played the drums. That year at the Christmas program she played the drum in the song “Little Drummer Boy” In the last 5 years of her life she had a hobby of making jewelry, such as necklace, earrings and bracelets. She liked to go camping and boating. While younger her brothers would take her to the movies and other places with them. She loved her family and doing stuff with them.
