Ann Louise O’Neill

June 8, 1938 – January 17, 2020

Ann Louise O’Neill went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2020. She passed away in her bed at Avamere, Sherwood at the age of 81.

Anna Louise Andersen was born on June 8, 1938 in Portland, Oregon to her parents: Lawrence W. Andersen and Louise Jean Cline.

“Annie” lost her father when she was 7 years old, to polio. Her mother Louise, later married Burdette “Bev” Beveridge. The new marriage brought Annie a new step brother and sister: Robert and Janet Beveridge.

The marriage of her mother to Bev eventually blessed Annie with a little sister, who would one day become her best friend: Her sister Susi.

Annie graduated from Marshfield High School, in 1956. She went on to attended Lewis and Clark Nursing School.

In 1960, she married Terrance Peter O’Neill, and together they made their home in Portland. Ann was a homemaker and mother to four children who loved her dearly.

Ann is survived by:

Her oldest son Mark, and his wife Terri; Their eldest daughter Emily and her Husband Jake: Daughters McKenzie and Caitlyn.  Mark and Terri’s second daughter Jessica and husband Joe: Their children Avery, Madison, and Joshua. Mark and Terri’s third daughter, Melissa and husband Jeff: Their son Lucas. Their fourth daughter Ashley and her daughter Chloe, along with her dad Jason.

Annie’s daughter, Laurie Reynolds and her husband Gordon; Their children: Nicole and her husband Mikey.  Their son Seth and his daughters Dove and Ella, along with their mother Amber; Teresa and Garth.

Ann’s daughter Tracey Pangares and husband Cary: Their children Peter, Jacob, Lucy and Abbey.

Ann’s son David and wife Ghania: Their children Isaac, Imani and Ryan.

Ann is also survived by her loved ones at Avamere, Sherwood.

This includes the staff as well as the residents whom she loved and who became her family during the twelve years she lived at the facility.
