Adriamarie “Adria” Arboleda 1968 – 2016

Adriamarie Arboleda was born May 7th, 1968, in Portland, Oregon and passed away on December 26th, 2016 at Providence Portland Medical Center at the age of 48.

Adria is survived by her husband Richard Arboleda, her daughter Ashley Spencer and son-in-law Lee Spencer. She was loved immensely by her two grandchildren Alli and Leland. Her sister Shannon, niece Jayne and nephew James, will always remember her as fun-loving. Her mother Judith Bruns and father Richard Clarin predeceased their daughter. She also had an older brother Richard Clarin Jr.

Adria grew up in Oregon City, Oregon and was always an animal and music lover, she played multiple instruments. She married her husband Richard in 1992 in an intimate family ceremony at her mother’s house in Portland, OR.

Adria was a supporter of local bands and wrestling – taking many pictures for close friends at their events and enjoying the time spent doing what she loved. Photography was a passion of hers and she could be found with her camera just about everywhere – whether taking pictures at local events or of her own family.

Adria was a homemaker, but she adored being home to take care of her husband and her two dogs, Dallas and Buddi (and any other pets they took in over the years). This also allowed her time to spend with her family, as well as take care of herself. Her daughter and grandchildren were her pride and joy and the time she spent with them will always be remembered and cherished, she will forever be “Nana”.

Family and friends knew that Adria had long dealt with medical issues and even through her pain she would be there for everyone. She always had good spirits and was there for any friend in a time of need. She will live on in the hearts of the rock bands, the wrestlers, the close friends and family that cared deeply for her.

Adria is finally at peace and no longer suffering; she is reunited with her parents and watching us all from above with her angel wings rocking out on her guitar.

A memorial will be planned for March, her daughter Ashley will reach out to her friends with more information. The family wishes to thank Providence for everything they did and the amazing care they provided while she was with them. Mom’s Poem – Written by Ashley Spencer 2011

“Life is not measured by breaths or steps. Life is not measured by

Accomplishments or disappointments

Life cannot be measured

Life is about love, happiness and the risks you’re willing to take

Life is about the family you make – with children, grand-children and the

Continuation of what once started long ago

Life is kisses, bruises, tears and smiles

Life is moments, memories, feelings and believing

Never forget that no matter where you are or how old you get

Life is what you make it, so make life worth living”
