Obituary
Robert “Bob” Stevens passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2026. He was born February 24th, 1934. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be missed by many. Bob spent his childhood in Boston, developing his lifelong devotion to the Red Sox. He entered the U.S. Army at age 18. Post Korean War, Bob moved to Portland, Oregon where he would spend the rest of his life. Bob met his sweetheart, Beverly in 1958 and in 1959 made her his wife. During his life, printing became a passion of his. He began his career in the printing industry in 1964 at Moore Lithograph. After climbing the corporate ladder at Moore Litho, Bob decided to start his own company, Stevens Printing, which became a beloved part of the small business community in Portland. Bob was a member of the Metropolitan Business Association for many years, then joined the Portland Executives Association where he became President, Vice-Chairman and Chairman. He was also a longtime member of the Portland Kiwanis Club, helping the community and local charities whenever he could. Even after retiring, Bob worked at Stevens for several years doing what he loved most, making deliveries and visiting clients. He was always recognized for his dapper attire and charming personality. After traveling the world with Beverly, he spent many years surrounded by his grandkids and great-grandkids, watching them grow up. Bob taught many what it means to be a kind and hardworking part of the community through his actions in his own life. Bob is survived by Beverly and his two sons, Richard and David, as well as the entire Stevens family who will carry on his legacy with love.
