Satia Rhiannon Mellott

February 05, 1978 – April 08, 2024

Our dear Satia Mellott, at only 46, has transitioned to a new state of being, but her spirit lives on through all who knew her.

If you knew Satia, you knew her unforgettable smile and laugh. Her many passions included theater, American Sign Language interpreting, being a restaurant manager, and caregiver; but most of all, she will be remembered for her advocacy work and her unwavering love of all beings. A selfless soul, her magnetic personality drew you in and she made you feel incredibly special and valuable. Ultimately, the harshness of this world proved too great for such a generous, tender, and compassionate individual.

Satia brightened our lives and her loss leaves an enormous emptiness in the hearts of those left behind, including her father Vinny, mother Leslie, sister Ashley, brother-in-law Michael, extended family, two rescue cats Zoe and Sweet Kitty Meowz, and her extensive recovery community. She is preceded in death by her niece Harper Sue.

You are invited to join us to celebrate her life at 2:00pm on May 18, 2024 at the Harvest Christian Church, 624 SW Halsey Street, Troutdale, Oregon. Your contribution to the potluck would be greatly appreciated, beverages will be provided.
