Obituary

Patricia Ann Lewis was born on February 10th, 1951 in Portland, Oregon to the late Gladys Mae Fatheree Lewis and Claude Leroy Lewis as the 1st child from this union.

Patricia was baptized in St. Phillips Episcopal Church as an infant. She attended Portland Public Schools, including Grant High School. She went on to work for the Red Cross and Consolidated Freightways as an administrator for many years until she retired. As a child, she was in The Blue Birds and played clarinet. She developed her mother’s love for fabric and textures and loved fashion. Her favorite place to shop was Nordstrom. Patricia loved going out with her favorite nephew Drake and loved to travel to new places like Italy and Europe. As a young teenager she was influenced by the hippie movement, and after walking on the wild side she dedicated herself to the church. She had a very strong faith in God and loved the Lord! She attended Maranatha Church in her younger days and then New Song Church later in life.

Patricia loved her family and enjoyed hosting them during the holidays and always insisted everyone dress up. Her specialty dishes were gourmet salad and French onion string beans. She loved spending time at the beach, hanging out with her friends, and attending Bible study. Patricia had a laugh and a smile to remember.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Susan Goodson Fatherree, Gary Lewis, and Cynthia Lewis; her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, cherished friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronald Lewis.

Patricia’s life was a testament to faith, family, grace, and love. Her legacy of kindness, elegance, and devotion to Christ will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know and love her. She will be forever remembered.

The family wishes to acknowledge all the support and condolences that have been received with great appreciation.
