William John Ollenbrook, Denturist, passed away October 7, 2022 at home, surrounded by loved ones, and his dog Honey.

William fondly known as Papa, born to William H. and Myrle C. Ollenbrook, on January 13, 1939, in Detroit Michigan

He graduated from St. Leo High school in Detroit Michigan.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he soon joined the US Army, trained as a dental technician and was stationed at Presidio US Army Post, in San Francisco. Where he met his beloved wife, Margaret Mollahan and married in 1961.

After working as a dental technician, for many years, he moved to Oregon and become one of the first licensed Denturists.

Through his hard work and dedication, he built a successful denture practice that lasted for over 40 years.

William held many titles in his life, from inventor to entrepreneur, but his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always there for them, whether he was helping them by lending a listening ear or cheering them on, for their own life adventures.

His many talents included his ability to fix and build anything. Building an A frame cabin in the woods for family vacations. To helping a family member, add on a second bedroom.

His interest in camping spanned his whole life, growing up in the city of Detroit he and his friends would go camping in each other’s back yards. Camping trips filled most of his vacations as an adult with his family. A memorable camping trip to Yosemite National Park, included hiding the family in their car in the middle of the night, while he and other campers chased off a mother bear and her cubs.

William is survived by his three children Teresa, William, and Monica Jarrett. His son-in-law David Jarrett and daughter in-law Alexis Ollenbrook.

His sisters, Janice and Judy Ollenbrook. His sister-in-law, Dominica Mollahan, Rose Miller, and Mike and Devonna Mollahan. His nephew James Schwartz, and niece Stephanie Reynolds. Including his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
