Rochelle “Shelley” Ann Garber
Rochelle (Shelley) Ann Garber was born April 26, 1952 in Portland, Oregon. She passed peacefully on September 10, 2021.
Shelley attended Glencoe Grade School and graduated from Washington High School in 1970. She went on to work in retail customer service for many years and was a great multi-tasker at her job. Throughout her life she enjoyed arts & crafts; including ceramics, stained glass, gardening and jewelry making. She and her husband Ron enjoyed fishing at Drift Creek, Oregon and frequent trips to Spirit Mountain Casino. She also loved to fly fish.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Ronald Garber. She is survived by her father Glae Dionne Douglas, her children; Rachelle Coole and Ryan Cain. And her grandson Jace who was the sunshine in her life and whom she absolutely adored.
Shelley came from a large family, her parents, six siblings, grandparents, aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews and cousins. She was always surrounded by her cat and her many dogs who she also thought of as her children. Many of her children’s friends called her Mom because she treated them like her own children.
Shelley had a larger than life personality and cared very deeply about people in her life. Those whose lives she touched will always have a special place in their hearts for her.
Shelley we love you much and we will miss you.
