Kelton passed away tragically after suffering of mental illness.
He is survived by his loving family.
Kelton was born in Portland and lived most of his short life in West Linn. His senior year of high school he lived in Bend, Oregon with his uncle. He enjoyed snowboarding, fly fishing and horseback riding. He graduated in June 2008 from Summit High School and then returned to West Linn.
Kelton was employed refurbishing pianos, house reconstruction and landscaping.
Kelton enjoyed welding and art classes at Clackamas Community College. He then went on to Tongue Point Job Corp in Astoria, where he learned masonry as a trade. Shortly after completing that course he was employed as a welder in Portland.
He was most skilled in his creative talent of pen and ink. He also worked with clay sculpture and glass.
He grew up camping and fishing with his family, which included water sports on family boat outings. Skateboarding was his favorite hobby and mode of transportation.
His big smile and loving heart will be missed by all that knew him.
Private memorial service being held on July 12.
